Welcome to the Women in AI Benelux Mentorship Program—a vibrant, supportive community dedicated to empowering women in AI and tech to achieve their goals and unlock their full potential. 
The program has been running since 2022, bringing together and empowering more than 120 mentors and mentees across various industries, career levels and experiences.

Our Mentorship Program is designed to foster learning, growth, and meaningful connections. Whether you’re a mentor or a mentee, you’ll benefit from tailored guidance, hands-on support, and access to a network of like-minded professionals who share your drive and ambition.

Each wave of the Mentorship Program spans four months, with carefully designed steps to ensure participants get the most out of their experience.

What does it take to become a mentor?

The program

We created and started the WAI Mentorship program in May 2023 with the ambition to help women thrive in AI and Tech. Since the first launch we’ve been able to connect and support 100+ women from different industries, careers and with different goals.

Learning and growing in AI

Wave 5 will start in March 2025

The kickoff event of our mentorship program will be held in-person, offering a unique opportunity to connect, collaborate, and set the stage for the months ahead. During the kickoff you’ll meet our team and learn about the program’s goals and structure. Next, a ‘speed networking’ moment encourages dynamic conversations as mentees and mentors will be able to connect, share goals, and exchange experiences. You’ll be able to hear from past participants about their experiences joining the program and we’ll eventually wrap up the evening with refreshments and casual networking. Stay tuned for updates.

For mentees a mentor is an accountability partner. You as a mentee have the power to steer by setting out goals and deadlines with your mentor. Most mentors will gladly open up their network to you, but it’s important to actively use & engage by taking ownership of possibilities in reach during the program.

Our diverse mentor network spans entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, venture capitalists, and other professionals from a variety of industries and countries. While the program is focused on supporting female mentees, we enthusiastically welcome mentors of all genders to contribute their unique insights, shaping the future of AI through guidance and collaboration in an inclusive and supportive environment.
