Women in AI Eindhoven Circle Kick-off
On May 21, Women in AI Netherlands team kicked off our Eindhoven Circle at the AI Innovation Center.

We had an amazing opening evening for the Women in AI Netherlands Eindhoven Circle! The event was both engaging and inspiring, welcoming a diverse audience including CTOs, researchers, founders, and marketers. Meike Nauta and Mariana Goldak-Altgassen shared their stories and the reasons behind starting this Eindhoven Circle. Philipp Werle provided insights into the history of the High Tech Campus Eindhoven and the goals of the AI Innovation Center, while Aoibhinn Reddington highlighted the impactful work of our Women in AI Netherlands community.
Highlights
One of the highlights of the evening was our interactive card game, where participants discussed statements in small groups. Some of the thought-provoking statements included:
– The progress of the technology advancement is going too fast and the risk of losing control is very high;
– Women bring different perspectives to AI projects;
– The EU AI Act will be effective.
The positive reactions to our initiative were incredibly encouraging. We look forward to meeting everyone again at our next Eindhoven Circle! A big thank you to AI Innovation Center & Datacation for making our first Eindhoven Circle edition possible!
