Kasteel Twickel Private Tour for 6

For 675 years, Twickel Estate has been one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands. At its heart stands Kasteel Twickel, dating back to 1347, when Herman van Twickelo purchased the ‘Huis to Eysinc’.

The castle was never sold, passing through noble families before being placed under the Twickel Foundation in 1953 by Marie Barones van Heeckeren van Wassenaer. Today, her relative Roderik Graf zu Castell-Rüdenhausen lives in the south wing, keeping its legacy alive.

The estate features a varied landscape of forests, heathlands, and farmland, with historic farms, a water mill, gardens, and a sawmill, making it a truly special place to visit.
