WAI NL Circle of June | Rotterdam
Rotterdam Circle is set to launch at the same time as summer
Join us for an exciting kick-off event featuring two accomplished women who will share their strategies and success stories in navigating AI and data, followed by the significant challenges they encounter. That’s when we’ll open the floor for discussion – this is your chance to engage and drive progress on the challenges!
Anita de Waard, Vice President of Research Collaborations at Elsevier, will delve into the practical application of AI within a publishing company. A sneak peek – you might get insights about using AI responsibly to detect AI generated text in scientific publishing.
Piek Knijff, a philosopher and director of Filosofie in actie, is deemed the pioneer of data ethics in the country. She will inform us about her approach to ethics when advising organisations on their use of technology. What do you anticipate might be the primary challenge in her line of work?
Come and connect with fellow women in AI in Rotterdam! Those from non-tech backgrounds are also encouraged to attend—the format is designed to enable everyone to contribute.
