WAI Educate Program Manager
We are looking for an detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive Program Manager for the Educate Team. The volunteer will report to the Educate Program Lead and is responsible for for developing and managing content that promotes the AI masterclass series offered by Women in AI’s Educate Product Department. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of AI topics and experience creating engaging content that builds anticipation for upcoming masterclasses delivered by industry experts. You will collaborate closely with the Marketing team to ensure program-specific content is well-integrated into broader campaigns while focusing on driving visibility and engagement specifically for AI educational initiatives.
Who we are
Women in AI (WAI) is a nonprofit do-tank working towards inclusive AI that benefits global society. We are a community-driven initiative bringing empowerment, knowledge, and active collaboration via education, research, events, and blogging. At Women in AI, we empower women and minorities to become AI & Data experts, innovators, and leaders. We encourage ethical applications and responsible use of artificial intelligence. The WAI Benelux chapter was founded in 2018 and is one of the most active WAI chapters globally with over 7.5K followers and 1.5K members. The WAI NL team comprises of 55 volunteers who want to support our mission to make AI inclusive. Our team runs 5 programs and over 35 events a year.
About how we work
The WAI Benelux team meets twice a month in the evenings after work (once with the entire team and once with your department team) to collaborate and develop programs and content for our WAI community. Volunteers dedicate approximately 3-5 hours per week related to their role and responsibilities.
About this Role
- Content Creation: Develop in-depth, engaging content around upcoming masterclasses, including blog posts, promotional articles, newsletters, and social media content to generate excitement and visibility.
● Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure content for the Educate Product aligns with the organization’s overall marketing strategy, while specifically driving attention to the masterclasses.
● Domain Expertise: Conduct research on AI topics covered in the masterclasses to create well-informed, authoritative content that appeals to potential attendees and showcases the expertise of the industry professionals delivering the sessions.
● Promotional Campaigns: Write pre-event content that hypes upcoming masterclasses, detailing topics, speakers, and what attendees can expect to gain, while also providing post-event recaps.
● Audience Engagement: Tailor content to speak directly to AI professionals, aspiring technologists, and decision-makers in the industry, driving engagement and registration for the masterclasses.
● Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze the performance of content, adjust strategy based on data insights, and optimize future content for better reach and engagement.
Who you are
- Proven experience in content creation, preferably in educational, AI, or technology fields
● Strong writing, research, and storytelling skills with the ability to break down complex AI topics for a wider audience
● Ability to collaborate effectively with marketing teams while working independently on program-specific content
● Experience with content performance metrics and data analysis to continually refine and improve content strategies
● Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or tech industry trends is highly desirable
● Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and manage multiple content streams for various masterclasses at once
