AI disruption at the workplace

About the speaker:

Dr. Jana Retkowsky is a Postdoctoral Researcher at KIN Center for Digital Innovation, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She is fascinated to uncover the changing nature of work that is continuously evolving. For example, gig work and generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT), which are both part of her core research interest. For example, she did an ethnographic study about the gig economy. She aspires to contribute to society by taking an active role in understanding and reshaping this new world of work. Her work has been published in international journals and in the national Dutch newspaper Het Parool. She presents her work at international conferences such as the Academy of Management (AOM). In 2018, she obtained a human resource management master at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her bachelor study focused on business and law at the University of Mannheim.
